The graphic above shows you all the things you should consider when thinking of turning someone’s research into a gift book.
Of course it’s an easier enterprise if it’s your own research or the gift recipient knows that this printing will be done for them. The best way to go about this is to give them a gift certificate.
Services we offer

- We can provide a bespoke gift certificate and guide for this service to give to the gift recipient.
- We can organise written notes into a digital family tree.
- We can provide accuracy checks of a digital family tree (See How reliable is my family tree?).
- We can then provide the digital family tree in GEDCOM format – this can be imported into family tree printing software and websites such as Ancestry and My Heritage. Not only are these websites good for storing and sharing family trees, they also facilitate further research.
- We can write up the family tree into a narrative and print a colour A4 hardback book.
In terms of cost, consider turning it into a book the equivalent of any author writing up a 100 page narrative and turning it into a book for publication.
